Yea, the 10K was still running mechanically fine but the resolution wasn't what it used to be and I had issues with SP creating micro banding that wasn't solvable. I just had enough, it was 10 years in use, and the two 9600s wore me out so I gave them all away. I definitely want a faster printer for K7 carbon and one with 2880. This new one is going to be fast with improved dither. The way Jon and Dana make these curves for QTR K7 is just amazing and I couldn't really duplicate it here. Anyway the 9890 is supported by QTR now. I'll be working with Jon this week in having curves made. Studio Print 12 is also working from what I gather on it and the 9900. You use the 9800 set up and linearize from there. j --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "mrjimbo" <mrjimbo@...> wrote: > > Hey so the 10 k is now dead aye?
