R3000 / QTR and matte black ink

As you probably guessed from the profiles I uploaded yesterday, I am in the middle of getting a new R3000 up to speed with some paper profiles. The pK ink profile I created for Epson Exhibition Fiber worked just fine. But now I am trying to create a profile for Hahnemuhle Fine Art Photo Rag, and whenever I attempt to print, the paper just feeds through without any ink at all being laid down. I can hear the heads moving, so it is not just ejecting the paper. Just not printing anything! I have changed over the printer to matte ink using the printer control panel, I have selected matte ink in the Quadtone RIP options panel in the printer dialog, yet nothing. Photo black works fine. And I am able to use matte black ink using the normal Epson driver and the paper manufacturer's ICC profiles. So I know it is all plumbed up right. Any ideas?
