Hi, I can't seem to find how and where the QTRgui presets are stored. There's no QTRgui.ini on my computer. Searching on a preset name didn't bring up any key in the registry. I plan to move QTR to a new computer, will I have to re-enter the presets by hand after installation? Any idea? CU, PaulK

Hi Paul, I'm not sure of the exact location but look for the Application Support folder under the login folder. You should find QuadToneRIP folder and QTRgui.ini Roy On Wed, Dec 19, 2012 at 1:35 PM, jansenklomp <paulk@...> wrote: > Hi, > > I can't seem to find how and where the QTRgui presets are stored. > There's no QTRgui.ini on my computer. > Searching on a preset name didn't bring up any key in the registry. > > I plan to move QTR to a new computer, will I have to re-enter the presets by hand after installation? > > Any idea? > > CU, PaulK > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > Yahoo! Hello Roy, I'm afraid 'application support' is a mac only thing? I'm using Win7, can't find a file QTRgui.ini on my disc... did any PC user find where and in what form QTR stores its presets? I'll try a grep search and report later, if I find anything. Bye! Paul JK

I just checked and I see a copy of the ini file in C:\Users\mike\AppData\Roaming\QuadToneRIP Mike J.

Thanks, Mike! Same folder contains a preset I made today. "Dir /s QTRgui.ini" in a command window does find the QTRgui.ini file, stupid of me to think Windows Search would help me find it... Anyway, thanks again, I'll be back to printing in a moment. Paul JK --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "Mike Johnston" <mike.johnston@...> wrote:
