anybody using i1Profiler with i1Pro spectrophotometer to make soft proof profiles? the current info is in regards to ProfileMaker 5—I'm having no luck trying to load the .txt files from the i1 folder provided into i1Profiler workflow.

The ProfileMaker 5 has a free Measure Tool that allows import of .txt files with the i1pro.

if you are using Eye One,

1.
Please measure Step Chart. (ex 21Gray step 0%-100% 5%step)
It is not necessary to export text file.
You can memo Lab color (L*,a* and b*)

2.
Please edit a text file. (empty_data_file_cm.txt)
http://www.digital-negatives.jp/download/empty_data_file_cm.zip
Lab color (L*,a* and b*)

3.
Please save txt file and Drop to
\QuadToneRIP\Eye-One\QTR-Create-ICC-RGB.exe (or QTR-Create-ICC-RGB.app)

4.
ICC profile is made!

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
