QTR-Quadtone RIP

I have no problems printing on sheets up to 13x19", but when I print on 17x22" paper the print stops about 60% of the way through. No problems occur printing via the Epson driver.

The printer is an Epson 9890 with the latest driver and firmware installed. I'm running OS X 10.8.2 and QTR 2.7.2

Any help is much appreciated.

Update: the amount of printing actually varies from 40-100% with no discernable reason as to why sometimes it prints completely and others only partially.
