Quad-1400 - Network - Airport

Quad-1400 - Network - Airport

2013-03-21 by jcphoto52

Hi

I installed QTR and followed the user guide. I gave the IP number of may Airport Station since my 1430 is over the Airport Station (it prints perfectly up to now).
I opened a tiff greyscale file in PS CS3, selected the printer (which I see), used the options panel in the printer dialog box and hit "Print".

There is a window opening and I can see percentages going by. At the end I have the message "Printer is occupied" and it stops there. The 1430 never started.
Am I missing something?
Thanks

To use the USB on the Airport you need to use the Bonjour connection. See
the Tutorial.pdf towards the end. You also need to use the 1400 driver.
So: printer is Quad1400, using QTR 1400, then Install1400.command

Thanks Mr.Harrington but I installed my 1430 over the network flawlessly (it's still in the printers list) but when I run the qtr install 1400, the only thing I get to enter is an IPP address or "return" to quit". No sign of "bonjour" there. Since I'm on my Airport base, I would believe that the IP address of the base should be good?

Thanks again
