cooling Kirkland paper?

cooling Kirkland paper?

2013-09-23 by <goch@...>

Has anyone profiled Kirkland (from Costco) paper for any of the Epson K3 printers?

Kirkland is a glossy, brightened, (apparently) acid-free paper.

Straight PK, LK & LLK is very warm, although not unattractively so.

I have never figured out or experimented with adding C/LC and M/LM to the pure-K profiles, so it would be very helpful if I had a model to get me started.

Thanks.
Myron

I think it is rebranded Ilford paper.

Yes. It depends which version of Costco's paper you are referring to. The first generation was made by ilford and was quite good. The latest version is probably made by Mitsubishi and has a lot of OBA's. I doubt that it is acid free as RC papers rarely are.

I haven't any comment about the paper but for profiles just look for cool profiles in other K3 printers.
