QTR and win 8.1

I have been a user of QTR for a few years. Lately I have installed win8.1pro. QTR still seems to print but I am having problems 1. When I try and view a curve of a previously produced curve I get I/O error 32. 2. On trying to create a new curve on saving I get the following error message"Invalid coordinates at quadprofile.pl line 41 Curve creation failed" I may have other problems but I will work through them as I come across them. Thanks for any help. Alternatively I could install QTR on my Win7 laptop and create curves their. If this topic has been covered in detail previously I can only apologize . Thanks in anticipation. Ken
