I'm printing on both the Bradford and Epson Matte papers and my whites
seem to have a yellowish tint. Does anyone know what may be causing
that? I'm using k7 on a 2200.

Seems to me that there is some yellow left in the printer.
I would do a few cleaning cycles or print a sheet filled with
10% gray.

Thanks to those who have been trying to help with my problem, but nothing has worked yet.
Please take a look at the images i posted in the photos folder on this site. The image is called
"edisonscan" and it clearly shows the yellow problem.

Thanks for the idea, but it did not fix the problem. Still yellow. Check the image
"edisonscan"in the photos folder and it clearly shows the problem.

Have you done a nozzle check? Does yellow show? Have you printed any purge images?

My guess there still is Epson yellow ink in the head, as the lightest ink K7 is problably used
the least for most average photos.

I had this issue when I changed my 7600 to piezotones.
Although following the recommended filling procedure there was
yellow in my lightest selenium grey.
I had to print a lot of A4 sheets to purge it out.

Looking to the scan of the calibration page I see some
color in almost all positions. Try to print something
and see if the color will go away.

I finally got rid of the yellow by using the "power cleaning" setting on my 7600. It seemed
to do the trick!

Thanks for the support!

Geez...you should of told us what printer you were using...as i thought you were using a
2200! If I knew it was the 7600 I would of told you to either print big purge patches or a
couple of deep head cleanings.

that there was indeed some yellow left in the machine.
