Re: [QuadtoneRIP]

Hi Paul, thanks but it doesn't work, I set my image size in Photoshop and then I set it on 100% (or even 'to fit')in QTR2,7 and in the preview it's the total page it shows but in reality it only prints 16x 24 cm. Is it possible it has to do something with the software of the camera? (I use a D7000 now and before a Fuji S5 what didn't give this strange result) I think I am overlooking something very simple.. krgds Jan

Jan,
I always have the "scale" in QTR set to 100% when I print, setting my image size in Photoshop to match whatever my print size goals are. (I'm not sure if this is responsive to your question of not.)

Hi Paul,
as a newbie I have a naive question about scale.
When I print directly from the qtr interface on A3 paper and I set scale
'to fit' I sometimes have a central detail (too big) or a small 16x24 cm print,
but well centered on my A3 page..
While I cannot find this standard feature,
I presume I am looking on the wrong place.
sorry to bother you with this..
thanks
Jan

Windows 7, CS 5 and CC, and QTR work fine together. I use both the Epson drive with QTR's ICCs as well as the stand alone QTR rip.
I edit my files in Gray Gamma 2.2. When ready to print, apply a conversion curve to the file and save it to the Desktop with "QTR" in the name. The conversion curve is posted at http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/Roark-QTR-ACV.zip .
I have my QTR printing procedure summarized in a short PDF at

Morning everyone,
As you will no doubt know the option for 'No Colour Management' has been removed from Photoshop since CS5 I believe. A 'work around' exists through Adobe Print Utility which allows test charts to be created for profiling etc. As a result the creation of a paper specific B&W ICC profile has been straightforward using the Create ICC Droplet. This allows me to work through the Epson driver with 'Photoshop Manages Colours'.
However, as I'd like to use the QTR print driver (I'm a Windows 7 user)could someone please confirm that the QTR driver works in absolute isolation to the Epson driver. Clearly, the issue is ensuring that colour management is turned off. All of the workflow docs I've read include references to 'no colour management' being engaged on the Epson driver but with this now removed how are users working around this?
Thanks
Garry
