I/O Error 32 in Win 8.1

I/O Error 32 in Win 8.1

2016-02-08 by edgar.kluge@...

Dear all,

i am new to this group (and new to QTR as well :-) and have the following question: when I try to view a curve in QTR (QTR 2.7.6; QTRGui 2.7.0), I always get the Error 'I/O Error 32'. Everything else seems to work ok.

I am working under Win 8.1

I only found a 2 years old topic, but there was no answer (at least I didn't find one) to that question.

Can anybody help me fixing this problem. Do I need to view the curve, for example when I want to calibrate new papers?

Thanks & best regards,

Edgar

The curve preview doesn't work from the curve editing window in windows 8 or windows 10. You can get a preview from the main page though. Save the curve and close the edit window. From the main window choose the curve in the drop down list, right click it and select the show curve/preview option (forget exactly what it's called but it will be obvious. .doing this from my phone)

Greg.

I had the same issue with Win 10 and R1800. Suggestion on right clicking on profile in Main Menu to show curve works fine. Great program!
