I have a 2100 (& Win XP) but recently downloaded and installed some curves designed for the 4000 just for informational purposes. Once I was done looking at these I changed the printing model back to Quad2100 and I can once again see my 2100 curves in the dropdown box as normal. However, when I go into calibration mode inkseparation8.tif automatically loads instead of inkseparation7.tif as if qtrgui thinks I am using a 4000. It's easy enough to select the correct calibration file and the two files look the same to my eye with the obvious exception of the 8th stepscale. However I would like to be sure that qtr does not think it is dealing with a 4000 and making any other changes in it's behaviour. Any ideas? Thanks Howard

Hi Howard, I made the 8 ink file the default so that it would work for all printers. The extra stepscales will be blank for printers will fewer inks. This is how the 4 and 6 ink printers worked with the older file. Ah, ok..this is the first time I used calibration mode since upgrading to 2.3.2 so that would explain it. Thanks Howard Roy Harrington wrote:
