Piezography Community Edition v1.2

Piezography Community Edition v1.2

2016-12-14 by forums@walkerblackwell.com

Hey everyone. Dana and I have added over 1000 Piezography Pro (ink) curves to the Piezography Community Edition archive available free at: http://piezography.com/downloads/piezography-community-edition <http://piezography.com/downloads/piezography-community-edition> (Don’t all download at once if you don’t need to! It’s a weeny little server!)

These new curves support the new Pro ink that we sold out of in a week this past October. Next pre-sale for the next (much larger) batch is after holidays. The curve update includes various options for gloss optimizing, cool, neutral, warm toning, etc. There’s also a pretty comprehensive manual in there.

//

On another note:

I’m happy to announce that the new Piezo UltraHD-MK 100% carbon ink is topping out with a dMax of 1.83 on some papers with these new curves (that’s L of around 12.65 on matte paper). !!!

I will be driving to Chicago tomorrow for an open-house at the non-profit lab I started there called “Latitude” to showcase some Pro ink prints and do a workshop. If anyone wants to come see some prints and some hard-working photo-community people, all are welcome this Friday from 6:30 on. Details at: http://latitudechicago.org

Happy Holidays and keep printing art!

cheers,
Walker

Thanks Walker. I’m unsure whether the next Pro pre-sale is Dec 17 (as per previous indications and Piezography.com <http://piezography.com/>) or whether it has been delayed until after the holidays. Just trying to not miss this one! Can you confirm? Thank you,
Wayne

It’s delayed until after holidays.

Black Friday was the largest sale we’ve ever done and we just started cresting that hill.

cheers,
Walker
