QTR profile for 7880 to 7900?

QTR profile for 7880 to 7900?

2017-04-30 by sanking@...

I have a friend who wishes to use one of my Epson 7880 profiles for printing in carbon transfer with an Epson 7900 printer. This question has been covered before, but I have not been able to find a clear answer in the search feature of the forum.

If someone could explain what needs to be done to install a profile designed for an 8-ink Epson printer on the 10-ink 7900 I would be most appreciative.

Sandy

Hi Sandy,I did this for a 9900, so think it should work for a 7900. Set the number of inks = to 8, use you 7800 profile, and set the unused number of inks to 0. Alternatively, it might also work for setting the number of inks to 10 and the unused number to 2 ---- although I haven't tried this. Cheers, John
