I am very new to QTR RIP. I have been exploring this site and trying to understand the different files that come with the program. I've a written a few descriptor files and intalled them using QTR Instal. I tried dropping one of the files intoDrop-Quad profile and got the following "Could not find PPD file for P600 at /etc/cups/ppd/P600.ppd".

What does this mean? Below is the descriptor file I am using.

Would apprreciate any info.

When using drop-quad you need a printer-already installed.

The best way do install new curves is take this .txt (or .qidf) file and place it inside of the curve folder. Then double click the install command.

To find that generated .quad file go to >Library>Printers>QTR>quadtone>(your printer name)

Best,
Walker
