Relinarizing a digital negative profile?

When you have an existing curve description file with graycurve and linearization, there is the possibility to doing relinearization for normal QTR printing using a handy droplet. However, I have no idea how to make this flow work for digital negatives (as I have no way to tell the droplets that the measurements that I am feeding back in is for a negative flow, and the droplet generates a new description file directly instead of giving me the option of one file for positives and one for negatives). Does anyone know how to do iterative linearization for digital negatives using QTR? Any help would be much appreciated.....
