Can anyone tell me if I can print quadtone images using my ten channel epson 24" printer with one dead yellow channel. I tend to print everything in Neutral tone. Many thanks, in advance. /ray

well if you get a ten channel printer (which one?) you can remap one of the colour to yellow in quadtonerip and make use of the yellow ink.
all oyu have to do is lie to the printer. in the older models you just had to swap the cartridge chip and reset it or switch to a refillable cartridge where you put the ink you need.

If you are making profiles in QTR the assignments you select for ink usage is up to you. You can as one person suggested swap chips on the cart that is installed for the bad channel and then tell QTR that the new position. It's not necessary for you reset the chip. I'm curious, are you using all of you 10 inks in your QTR profile?
