QTR, Epson 4000 and Mac OS strangeness

QTR, Epson 4000 and Mac OS strangeness

2005-12-01 by elitephotolv

I don't know if this has been covered but I have a strange thing
happening.

I have an image that I put a stroke (3 pixel) all around and when I
print it on my 4000 from QTR on Mac os 10, The right hand stroke, that
is the last one as the image comes out of the printer doesn't print.
It looks as though I only put a stroke around the top, bottom and left
hand side.

I haven't tried printing this without qtr involved so I don't know if
there is a strange file problem but what is really wierd to me is that
I have 5 other images made at the same time with the same number of
layers (actually the exact adjustment layers) that print with all 4
edges of the outside stroke present.

Any ideas?

Randy

Let me guess...you printed via Photoshop's "Print with Preview". I believe there is a bug in
Photoshop that cuts a sliver off of the image...but only at certain sizes and image placement.
A work around is adding a little of canvas around the image.

Another is to place a stroke using "Print with Preview" window. Use the Color Management
pulldown and choose "Output", click on Border button.
