Ken -- I'm not from the company you are looking for but... I am in the process of designing single and double-sided glass film holders for Xpan negatives (in four groups of three) for the Epson 4990 and (in one group of three) for the Nikon 9000. I am sick and tired of waiting for someone to create an Xpan specific scanning solutions so I've designed something myself to be made from acrylic and glass. I hope to have the Nikon prototype this week and the Epson after the New Year. I'm not a fan of the OEM film holders in general and my 4990 design could be easily modified to hold four groups of six standard 35mm frames. As is, the Xpan design will hold four groups of five frames but only four groups of four frames would be able to be scanned. The design can also be modified (if necessary) for other scanners if there is an interest. My 4990 design will be more rigid then the OEM holder and will hold the film more flat. The tradeoff is that there will be glass surfaces to keep clean. The Nikon design will fit into the OEM medium format film holder (non-permanent modification required). This may not be of immediate use to you but if you are interested in "beta testing" one of these, let me know off list. BTW - It's not live yet but I'll be using www.XpanScan.com to promote this solution. Dave. -- David Keenan, ausdlk@... on 12/5/2005
