Epson SP 7600 with monochrom 7-ink-set - Expert needed

Hi, I'm trying to use the QTR with the Epson SP 7600 equipped with a 7-grey-ink-set by monochrom. The first testprints after creating a curve following the manual show a very fine banding-pattern, when printing with 2880 dpi - trying the same curve with 1440 dpi doesn't show the banding, but the black and lightblack patterns smear like there is too much ink on it. This does not happen when printing with 2880 dpi. I started to do the curve-creation again for 1440dpi, but the inkseparation-image showed the same bands as it shows using 2880 dpi. thanks for yoour help Philipp
