It sounds like you are simply saving the tif file from photoshop. That
will not cause the image to be printed. QTR is a separate application that
is used to print files. You have to run QTR, configure its settings, select
the file to be printed and click on the print button in QTR. It does not
operate as a driver accessible to PS CS2. See pages 6 through 10 of the User
Guide for help on configuring QTR and printing files.

Thank you very much for your kindness. I use PS and save the image as gray
scale with .tif - it spools to printer but doesn't print - as if my QTR
isn't in the right place to act as the driver. Any further suggestions would
be very much appreciated. Joachim

You work up your image in Photoshop, save that image and then print it
with QTR outside of Photoshop. I hope this helps.
