Fine Lines in Shadow areas

Fine Lines in Shadow areas

2006-04-17 by curiousiz

Hello, I'm new to QTR. I've looked through the archives and haven't found this problem, but
hope someone might have insight. I am printing to an Epson 2200 using PS CS2 and the UT7
inkset from MIS, onto Moab Entrada paper. I have made about 20 prints that have worked
great but in some of the most recent prints I have been getting sets of very fine lines in the
deepest shadow areas. Not on all prints and only in some shadow areas. I've tried cleaning
the nozzles but the problem continues in just those select prints and repeats identically in
those images in those specific areas. ? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Many
thanks in advance. Morgan

Try different "dithers" (QTR adjustment)...hard to predict which will
work best..I'm currently using Floyd Steinberg with Moab Kayenta.
