Suggestions for Canvas on QTR with Epson 4000 & UC inks?

Hello again! My Problems seem to persist with printing on canvas :-( I gave the Epson Enhanced Matte profiles a try in QTR per a suggestion from Roy...no such luck. I'm printing on an Epson 4000 with UltraChrome inks...I've been able to get fine prints using the Epson Enhanced Matte profile for the Enhanced Matte Paper, but with the EnhMatte/Canvas combo they come out way dark... I've set up a test print with a BW photo, a matrix of 0-255 shades of grey, a granger chart, and gamut chart. When I'm printing (on Ps CS2 on a MAC), I let Photoshop determine colors, Printer Profile set to Pro4000 Enhanced Matte (or even the Epson recommended SP4000 PPMC1 MK 1440.icc, I see no difference in the print quality). In the Quad4000 print dialog, I have Matte Ink, 1440 super, High Speed: Faster, Tone Blend 100-0, Ink Limit Adj: 0%, Gamma Adj: 0%. Printing through the Epson driver with the Piezo Pro profile gave a decent array of shades (not neutral, a bit of loss in the midtones compared to a QTR print on Epson Enh Matte) but the quality was not as good as what I have come to expect when printing with QTR. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thoughts? Any assistance would be warmly welcomed :-) Cheers, David
