Low contrast with 890/UT2

Hi - I am using the MIS inks with a epson 890 printing on Epson Archive Matt paper/QuadTone RIP with nuetral-2 setting, zero adjustments. I am getting consitently flat low contrast prints from files I know can do better.... any ideas ? Thanks - Bernard
