Profile questions with the Eye One design

Profile questions with the Eye One design

2006-07-05 by Steven

Hello,

i have just received my eye one design spectrometer and read all the
installed files with QTR about profiling but I am not going any further.
There are two pdf files describing to make profiles; the user guide
from Tom Moore and the eye-one-readme file in the eye one folder. What
is the diference? Where do I start? In Tom moore's guide he talks
about measuring the densities from the printed calibration target; but
how do I do this with the eye one design? By using the Measure tool in
Profilemaker or in the eye one match software? How do I get these
density numbers?
Please help me by giving me a starting point.
thanks, Steven.

Well i figured out a few things and used the 21- gray wedge in the
eyeone folder to measure the calibration target and did this in the
profilemaker measuretool. Is this the right way to start?

Steven.
