Adding Profiles to Curves

Adding Profiles to Curves

2006-07-24 by doshincantor

I am new to QT and the Epson 2400

Papers used: Epson Enhanced Matte
Epson Velvet Fine Art

QTR-Gray Matte Paper is selected in the Print Preview
UCmk-enhMatt is selected in the curves in the print window

Is it necessary or suggested to enter specific profiles for the papers I use into QT? I would
also like to try some Hahnemule papers I was given.

I have the profiles for the Epson papers and the Hahnemule in the libray of my Mac.

I have opened the One-Eye...at least I know where it is, but have no ssense of how to use
it to add profiles.....if indeed it is suggested for the papers I use.

This inquiry started when I noticed on page 218 of George Dewolfe's new book...which
includes instructions on QT....that the Curve listed are for a specific paper.

I have an Optix XR -Pro for my monitor but nop device for paper profiles. Frankly, doing
ok up to now as a relative beginner but wanted to see changes if there are specific profies
for the curves in QT.

Which book by George DeWolfe is this? It sounds interesting.
