I'm redifining the problem and adding system information. Perhaps Roy will
know the answer to this one.
G5/Quad 2200, UC inks. (Does QTR allow custom paper sizes on a
Macintosh?)
By trying to print a 9"x28" panorama on a 13"x36" sheet, here's what I've
found out:
Setting 13"x36 custom size, causes the printer to print parallel bars of tone
across the entire width of the paper until the printing job is stopped.
Selecting 13"x44" from the defaults offered, and changing the left margin to
4", the printer will print the panorama fine. Can someone tell me why it won't
print a custom size 36" in length?
Although the Epson driver allowed me to print a 14" long image on a custom
size setting of 8.5"x17", when the custom size was set to 13"x36", it only
printed a narrow section (landscape orientation) of the panorama across the
narrow dimension of the paper, even though the print preview showed it
correctly oriented. Can someone help with this one, too?
Thanks,
peter
