QTR and ethernet

I've got an Epson 4000 connected to my Mac, (OS 10.4 8), via Ethernet. There's a fast ethernet switch between my mac and the printer. Can I run the latest QTR? I'm new to QTR and hope to get much more nuetral B&W prints from my UC inks using QTR and custom profiles//Peter
