How the printer works ?

How the printer works ?

2006-11-15 by lours51

Example : lets print a picture in the 11x19 size.
To make it easy, I take a file of the same size 11x19 but with
different PPI, one at 600ppi and one at 200ppi.
I send both to the printer, what is it doing ?

Will it resup/resdown the file to 360 as it is said they deal with
360ppi files ?

Thanks
Michel

The printer driver resamples the image to the native reslution of the
printer.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
