Failure to print

Failure to print

2007-01-11 by smipgroup

Today I downloaded 2.3.1 to my pc. I first removed any prior remnant of
QTR. The download and installation seemed to go as intended. I opened
the print screen, selected a photo, put in all the required information
and, instead of a print, I got three black windows one of which said
c:\\programfiles\quadtonerip\bin\rawprint.exe. The other two, starting
after bin, said quadtoprinter.exe and imagetoraster.exe. And it won't
get past them. Anyone encounter this and have any advice?

The three windows you got are because the Debug option is set. They are the DOS
windows of the worker programs QuadToPrinter, ImageToRaster, and RawPrint. If
these windows are staying open, then QTR is having trouble printing to your
printer.

I suggest you remove the QTRgui.ini file in your My Documents folder. (Under
Application Data\QuadToneRIP)
