dave,
are you using QuadTone RIP for windows or mac?
before you can produce an ICC profile, you need a device like Eye-One or PrintFix Pro. i
think the recent software update to PrintFix Pro has an option that outputs a file for
QuadTone RIP, but i don't know how this works. i recall a mentioning about PrintFix Pro
and QuadTone RIP at www.northlight-images.co.uk, but i can't seem to locate the article's
URL. go there and see if you can find it yourself.
meanwhile, if you're using QTR-GUI on windows, then *i think* there is no application
script available as on the mac side.
if you're using QTR on mac, then there is an application script named QTR-Create-ICC in
this folder path ...CurveDesign/Eye-One. QTR-Creat-ICC generates the ICC profile based
on the data compiled using Eye-One. as mentioned above, you need Eye-One before you
can make use of anything inside ...CurveDesign/Eye-One. you can get some more details
in Eye-One-ReadMe.pdf located in ...CurveDesign/Eye-One folder.
i hope this was helpful.
