Printer mystery

I'm sure this has nothing to do with the new QTR version but it started happening just after I installed the new version... I am using an Epson 2200 and printing on Condor paper. I feed the paper thru the back manual slot of the machine. The paper feeds, the print head moves back and forth through the completion of the printing process. BUT, no ink is laid down on the paper. It's blank. I have the paper thickness lever in the proper position. I even tried feeding the paper through the top slot of the machine with the same result. I can print nozzle checks and other stuff using thin paper but the machine won't print on the thick Condor paper. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Fred
