hello,
as nobody answer to this and as I had to make profiles for my R1800 I could only give here what I did...
so the light black doesn't exist on the R800/1800 but we do have Photo Black...
And if you check the 21 step for this PK you'll see it's a little lighter than MattBk
you just have to complete your curves with the Ohoto black as explain for the LBk in the booklet ...
results are quite good... at least for me...
be happy

Hi,
I have understood and made profiles for my 2100 and am now moving on
to the R800 but lack an understanding of how to progress.
I started by measuring the max % ink with the first test chart, at
about 60%.
But as there is no LK ink I am not sure what to do with the % of Ink
1 (Black) that equates to 100 % of Ink 7 - Light black. I measured
that 38% of Black equates to 100% of Light Black
Can somebody explain how I create the qdif file prior to the
linearize measurements.
In orther words what do i do with the 60% and 38% figures in the
first stab qdif file.
When I have done this I will then do the linearization.
thanks
BTW Have nice prints with QTR
don't forget "Life is just what we are looking for..."
R1800 mostly in B&W (80%)
