QTR calibration with printfix pro Version 2
2007-07-13 by alexmurebeil
Hello, I am new in this group. My name is Alex, located in Munich/Germany and just starting with QTR. I have problems to understand, how I can use the automatic QTR export from printfix to QTR by reading the testfiles. By using the normal calibration process of PFP for color profiles the software opens a window and shows me which field I have to measure, when I have to switch to the next line etc. What I do is: I choose in PFP the measuring menu (just translated from german, can be slightly different in the english version), press the button "export file to", choose a name, click QTR format override, click "lab", read with the spectrometer the fields and finally click "finish". I have actually the values in the exported file and can pull it to the QTRxxx.exe file and the ICC profile is created, that´s fine. But how can the software know, which printed file I have used for the measurement?? Therefore I believe I am doing anything wrong and all the explanation I have read was the PFP/QTR explanation with software version 1 without the possibility to create the file automatically. Thanks for your helb and sorry for my worse english. Regards,Alex
