Dithering: which method produces the least banding issues

I am experiencing horizontal banding problems in the upper and lower 2- 4 cm of prints. Printer: R300 Paper: Epson Enhanced Matte/Hahnemuehle Museum Etching Ink: Piezo K6 Windows XP QTRgui 2.5.1.8 Resolution: 2880 dpi Speed: Unidirectional Dithering: Ordered The banding is confined to the upper and lower portions of the image, which I find strange. I do not believe it to be the result of clogging, head alignment, etc. Any suggestions? Thank you. Paul
