BO possible with QTR?

BO possible with QTR?

2005-07-19 by Antara Scales

Is it possible to print with just eboni black with QTR?
And-can I force the printer to print this way even if one of the color inks is empty?
I need to print a b&w and my yellow ink won't come via fedx until tomorrow. Can anyone
help?
thanks
Antara

I don't know if refusing to print without all the inks is a printer
limitation or an Epson driver limitation. However, one possibility might be
this:

Supposedly, this utility includes the ability to reset the ink level on a
cart, from the computer.

Once you get the printer to print without the yellow ink, you might as well
just use the regular QTR curves, assuming they don't use yellow ink. For BO,
you might just as well use the Epson driver.

Thanks Paul, but I'm on a Mac, and the program is only for Windows.
Anyone else have suggestions? I have the Epson 2200 , using Mac OS X(Tiger).
