QTR-Quadtone RIP

I just started using the quadtone rip on a friends 9800, and today received the new 9880 and 
can't seem to make it work.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I might be doing 
wrong, or should I wait for a new rip that has 9880 imbedded?  Thanks

I print with an EpsonStylus Pro 4880 with QTR for the 4800 printer and have no problems. I 
use the printer with a fixed IP adress in a network.
