poor print quality...a newbie with QTR

2007-12-10 by xebox

I am doing my first tests on enhanced matte, using the appropriate QTR profile.
My images, using both bilateral and unilateral printing, at 1440 have subtle lines as often
seen when printing for speed instead of quality. The same images look fine if not using
the rip with the "speed" box unchecked using Photoshop CS.

I donot see any place to adjust the print quality or speed in the QTR "print" window...other
than choosing bilateral or unilateral.

Thanks so much
Celeste

Hi Celeste,
I don't know which printer and ink you are using. But there is also a
1440super selection
that helps with banding problems.
