Paper "scratching" or smudging - poor quality prints

Hi all, I've bought Epson R2400 and tried QTR on Enhanced Matte Papers. And it was terrible good!!! I have also installed ink system from PermaJet (http://www.permajet.com/product/115/Eco-Flo_Epson_R2400_.html). From this time I have troubles printing with QTR. My configuration is: EPSON R2400 + PermaJet inks (matte black) + Epson Enhanced Matte papers. When I print using Adobe Photoshop CS (Advanced BW mode), I can get reasonable results, but not as good as from QTR (especialy contrast and midtones). But when I print with QTR, my prints are scratched or smudged - in A3+ paper, it is a 5 cm strip in approx. 2/3 of a page (approx. 13 cm from the right edge of the paper), which is affected. It starts from the very top of the page - it looks like the printer started to print earlier this portion of photo, because I can see a few lines before the rest of the image. Then the whole page is something like smudged in this strip - I can see something like trails, so black is not black - it's smudged. I was wondering why it is only when printing in QTR? Photoshop prints look perfect in this area so it must be a software problem. I've tried 1440 super resolution, Matte paper and profiles for Enhanced Matte from Epson. But why does it worked when I was using genuine inks? Can anybody help me solving this problem? Thanks all of you... Pavel
