QTR Leopard and Epson 7600 problem

QTR Leopard and Epson 7600 problem

2007-12-31 by grnbrg2

I'm having problems with Leopard and QTR; I can print a color print, but with QTR I get
nothing. Once I've sent the file to print it show up on the printer screen, and then vanishes.
I've installed the latest version of QTR along with the patch. Any other suggestions?
Thanks.

To make things work on a Leopard upgrade there are a couple of things you
need to do.

1) download version 2.5.2 plus the QTR-Patch for Leopard. See
www.quadtonerip.com
2) install 2.5.2 first and then install the patch.
3) Delete the old Quad7600 using Print&Fax pane of System Prefs.
4) From the download re-run Profiles/7600-UC/Install7600 (or whatever is
the right ink)

Then you should be back in business.

Thanks Roy. I did try everything you suggested once, to no effect. But I tried it again and
now everything is fine. Must have left something out along the way.

Happy new year.

Best,

Stanley
