Soft Proof in Photoshop?

Hello, I'm wondering if it's possible to soft proof the various curve settings in Photoshop? I'm using Photoshop CS3 under Mac OS X. I can proof the "QTR - Gray Matte Paper" (selecting Perceptual & Black Point Compensation), but this does not take into account the curves settings I'll be selecting in the RIP driver. Is there any way to do this in Photoshop? I'm very accustomed to soft proofing on screen and would love to be able to do so to soft proof prints going through the QTRip. I'll be printing to Epson Velvet Fine Art paper. Regards, Kristin.
