Frank,
If you put the OEM PK back into the PK slot, you can print luster color with
the Epson driver, but you must be sure "gloss" is un-checked in the driver.
If you want gloss optimizer also, you'll need to switch out that cart also.
For glossy B&W, Carl's 3-PKn approach may be the easiest. You can also use
the 3-MK and spray the print, but it adds an extra step. See

Hope this helps.

Subject: [QuadtoneRIP] printing on luster papers with 3MK inks in R1800
I posted this before and searched for an answer somone gave me and just
can't find it in the archives. My question was how to print on luster
paper with tje 3MK inks and asked if I could switch out the MK with the
OEM PK so I can print color and BW on luster papers.
I think the answer said I could switch out the MK inks with the PK
OEM ink when I wanted to use a luster paper for black and white and
color. But I Cant find the answer in the archives...Paul Roark gave it
to me I think.
Any help will be apprciated. I just don't like the look of the color on
the matte paper. BW is fine most of the time, but not all
thanks
Frank
