QTR-Quadtone RIP

Several weeks ago I decided to upgrade to the latest and greatest
version of QTR, 2.6.1.  There were no new features that I could use
but why not have the latest, what could go wrong?  2.6.1 can print but
gives me the following error message when I run Drop-Quad-Profile on
my mac.

/Applications/QuadToneRIP/CurveDesign/Drop-Quad-Profile.app/Contents/Resources/script:
line 17: quadprofile: command not found

so I decided to uninstall 2.6.1 and go back to 2.5.2. 
Drop-Quad-Profile works just fine then but I can't print because the
the print driver can't find the printer.  I have done back and forth
between 2.5.2 and 2.6.1 several times and nothing changes.  I realize
now that I might have mixed the uninstall/remove program between the
two versions and I can see how that could mess things up.  I've gone
back and done it right, using the 2.5.2 uninstall with 2.5.2 and the
right on for 2.6.1 but things are still messed up.

What now? Should I take up color? perhaps painting?

How can I wipe things clean and start over?

Hi DDeloof,

Sorry to have caused you the hassle.  To make things more visible to
the user I'm moved many files from hidden unix folders to folders you can
easily see in Finder.  Anyway that one script -- Drop-Quad-Profile looks like
one I missed in updating.  (I use and advocate using the Install Printer scripts
which is why I missed it).  With the scripts you just need to copy an install
script such as  InstallR2400 to your folder with your new profiles and run it.

So, bottom line, I recommend using 2.6.1.  Check out the
/Applications/QuadToneRIP
folder for all the programs and profiles.   If you are adding profiles for an
existing setup -- see the Profiles folder, just add yours and run the Install.
If you want a new printer/ink combo just create your own folder here.
If you still like the Drop-Quad-Profile I can send you one that works with 2.6.1
just let me know.
