QuadtoneRIP/Epson1400

I've just downloaded QuadtoneRIP onto my WindowsXP Media Centre edition PC. I'm using an Epson Photo 1400. The software installed apparently without problem. QTRgui seems to have recognised the printer which appears in the drop down list. In fact everything seems fine except that when asked to print the printer produces several blank sheets and then a number of sheets containing one or more lines of spurious code. In fact it appears to be the same problem detailed with a different printer in message 7394. I must be doing something wrong! but what? Any suggestions will be gratefully accepted. Many Thanks, David
