profiles for 2200 UC please

profiles for 2200 UC please

2009-01-13 by frankg_photo

Epson 2200
Mac OSX
UC inks

I am looking for paper profiles that didn't come with the QTR
installation.
I know you're supposed to be able to make them yourself but I don't
have the foggiest idea how to do a decent job of it.
I would like to try out one of the newer baryta papers like Ilford
Galerie Gold Fibre Silk, or the Harman Gloss range, Inkpress baryta
warm tone.
Also Moab Entrada Bright & Hahnemuhle Photo Rag bright white.
If anyone is willing to share any of these or can point me to where I
can get them I'd certainly appreciate it.
Thank you,
Frank

Hello Frank,

I have rolled my own profiles for Hahnemuehle Photo Rag Bright White
in combination with the 2100+UC inks. I need to work on them a bit
more once I find the time (so I haven't uploaded them to the group
files), but you can get them from
http://www.xs4all.nl/~tindeman/forum/qtr/QTR-HMPRBW.zip I have made
two versions: neutral and warm. They are intended to be used with
2880dpi and unidirectional printing.

Hope it works for you!
Cheers,
Simon

Thank you Simon. I'll give it a shot although I don't have any of that
paper at this time.
I'm going to try & post on the b &w group as there doesnt appear to be
much action here.
Frank
