2400 PROFILES

2005-08-24 by Peter Mc Mahon

Carl Schofield,
Carl,
I have recently set up my 2400 printer and have just downloaded your QTR
profiles for ESP using windows.
I tried one of your sepia and the print was way too dark. I have made
several prints, the last with a -45 shadows and a -10 lightest, gamma.
Still too dark.
The image is Tiff and it converts to grayscale on applying profile. The
image prints ok in Epson ABW using an Epson SP profile.
I really want to use QTR and your profiles , any idea where I may be
going wrong.
regards,
Peter.

Peter,

The profiles were made using a Mac. I can't advise how to use them
with a PC, but PC users on this forum may be able to help. Note also
that they are for Ilford Smooth Pearl paper.
