Epson 1400 with Claria

New user question here. After installing the profiles for the Epson 1400, I noticed that the only one for Claria inks uses black and a blended CMY to produce the greyscale, and this profile is for Epson Glossy. How would I go about creating a similar profile for my Red River Aurora fine art matte? I'm not sure which calibration/linearization method I need. I've looked into the various methods provided by Harrington and Rourk and I'm a bit confused. One point to make is that I need to be able to print both color and B&W, so I'd rather not go to a third party inkset. Thanks in advance.
