Has anyone got QTR 2.7 Calibration mode to work on Windows 7 x64? I've had it working no problem before with QTR 2.6, but with 2.7 it just prints every ink wedge the same density - I presume its just using one ink. Its just like if it can't find the profile (because I have put a space in it :). I am printing on R1900. I've tried everything I could think of. I don't really want to revert back to 2.6. Thoughts? Roy, Ok so installed 2.6.2 alongside 2.7 in another folder and 2.6.2 calibration mode works fine, 2.70 is broken - see details below. Hopefully someone else can confirm this, and its not just a corrupt installation on my machine. Yes, I've confirmed this. Use the 2.6 version for now. There's no difference whatsoever of the calib prints made with 2.6. Use 2.7 for all else. Fix will be coming. Just to make this clear to people - it's not a problem confined to Win 7x64. Doesn't work on XP either (see my earlier post) Roger --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, Roy Harrington <roy@...> wrote:

Roy, Ok. Since you are releasing an update, can you slip in support for the R1900 "Best Photo" 5760 res mode ? Mike, I know Epson promotes this feature but in reality their implementation puts the same number of dots on a page as QTR's 2880x1440. They skip half the positions. So my take is that there isn't any actual advantage with Epson's method. Issues with the R1900 printer are most often horizontal so adding horizontal positions is not going to alleviate that.
