Problem with cool curve for Hannemuhle photo rag and UT7.

I used Epson 2100 with MIS ink UT7 and have a strange problem. When I print with the "warm curve" the print is very good with delicate tones, but when I use the "cool curve" on the same paper with the same photo(file), the print get very dark with almost no grays. Even more strange it becomes when I print the 21 step linarisaton file with the "cool curve" it looks very fine. ?
