MeasureTool

2010-08-04 by Keith

After a long delay, I'm back to trying to get my head around QTR. The instructions are not easy to follow and are 5 years out of date and so many things have changed. Anyway, one of the things all the instructions/comments/etc. that I have read is acquiring the MeasureTool from GreTag MacBeth(which is X-Rite now). I went through that site and could not find a demo(to aquire the MeasureTool which is suppose to be free)to download anywhere on the site. Can anyone help me out?

My understanding is that the measure tool is shipped with the X-Rite/Gretag ProfileMaker 5 Pro I don't believe it is a free download.

Yes, it comes with the PM 5 Pro download -- this is what you look for.
 Downloading is free.
Usage of the pieces including MeasureTool is free for the features you need.

Do you have a link? I went to the X-Rite site>Support>Downloads>ProfileMaker 5>version 5.0.10(dated 11/2/2009.
At this point it opens up a download box, but everything is grayed out.
If you have a different path, please share.
